Reproductive and Sexual Health (RSH) Clinics

Reproductive and Sexual Health clinics provide a free and confidential service consisting of walk ins (no appointment needed) and appointment clinics.

Brook Centre

Brook is a free and confidential sexual health service for under 25s and the service offers contraception, condoms, emergency contraception and pregnancy advice.

A '374 men's clinic' is run on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm to 6pm for STI screening and treatment.

A counselling service is also available.

Drop in (no appointment needed) available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1pm to 6pm, Saturday 1pm to 4pm.

Lambeth College Clinic

Provides a sexual health service for young people.

Clapham site is open every Tuesday from 11.45am – 2pm and Vauxhall site is open on the first Monday of the month from 11.45am – 2pm

Camberwell Sexual Health Clinic

Provides a walk in service (no appointment needed) with easy access to a wide range of sexual health services for men and women.

If you just need condoms, pregnancy tests or a Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea test you may not need to see a nurse or doctor. Instead, you can collect condoms and testing kits free from the self-service vending machine (tokens are dispensed at the registration kiosk).

In addition to the walk in services, they also provide appointment clinics for clients with more complex needs. Normally these appointments are made following a referral by a GP.

Genitourinary (GUM) Clinics

A GUM clinic provides a free and confidential service consisting of walk-ins (no appointment needed) and appointment clinics. Genitourinary medicine deals with the male and female sex organs and the urinary system. Most of the clinics have health advisors who can usually spend more time with you than a doctor and can discuss any aspect of sexual health such as STIs, relationships, loss of sex drive and more. You can also choose to talk to an advisor over the phone if you prefer.

You can get the following services from your local GP:

Confidential advice (this includes those under 16) about all sexual health matters, testing and treatment for Chlamydia, HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections and most types of contraception which may include Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). Free condoms, pregnancy testing and emergency contraception are also available from all Lambeth GP practices, as well as referral to more specialised services.

The following GP practices offer specialised sexual health services to any patients through walk-ins (no appointment needed) they also offer all the services listed above.
